Art & Expression

Last changed on Tue, 09/12/2023 - 17:15

This category contains content that highlights creative endeavors and traditional imagery. For cataloging and discovery purposes, art is the item itself, in this case the digital representation of a work of art (a photograph of: a reef net, story pole, or painted drum). Whereas, expression refers to the storytelling involved in the making of art, the intention or meaning of a song, sound, dance, etc. Expression can also refer to the action or movement involved in creating, replicating, or expressing an artistic form (the dance itself is an expression).
